1 Terms of Service

1.1 Overview

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Sarmentine website and the booking of baking courses.

By booking a course, you agree to these terms.

1.2. Services

Sarmentine offers in-person baking courses only in this location : Sarmentine Bakery 52 Mission Circle, Suite # 112 Santa Rosa, CA 95409

courses:

  • Are limited in capacity (typically 6 to 8 participants depending on the class).

  • Require advance booking and payment

1.3. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be made online

  • Full payment is required to confirm your spot

  • Prices are listed in USD

1.4. Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1.5. Participant Responsibility

Participants must:

  • Arrive on time

  • Inform us of any food allergies

  • Follow safety and hygiene instructions

Sarmentine is not responsible for issues resulting from undisclosed allergies.

1.6. Liability

Participation is at your own risk.Sarmentine is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses during the course, except in cases of gross negligence.

1.7. Intellectual Property

All recipes, content, and materials remain the property of Sarmentine and may not be reproduced for commercial use.

1.8. Changes

Sarmentine reserves the right to modify courses, schedules, or these terms at any time.Prix indiqués en dollars (USD)

2. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the course → full refund

  • Less than 48 hours → no refund

  • No-shows → no refund

You may request to reschedule once, subject to availability

Sarmentine reserves the right to cancel a course:

  • Full refund or rescheduling will be offered

3. Privacy Policy

We collect personal data such as:

  • Name

  • Booking details

This data is used to:

  • Process bookings

  • Send confirmations and reminders

We do not sell your data.

Payments are processed securely via third-party providers.

You may request access or deletion of your data at any time.

4. Cooking course Waiver & Release of Liability

Sarmentine – Baking courses

In consideration of being allowed to participate in a Sarmentine baking course, I hereby agree to the following :

4.1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

I acknowledge that participation in a cooking or baking course involves certain risks, including but not limited to the use of kitchen equipment, tools, heat sources, and food preparation.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and hereby waive, release, and discharge Sarmentine, its owners, instructors, employees, and representatives from any and all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage that may occur as a result of my participation.

4.2. Voluntary Participation

I understand that my participation is entirely voluntary and I agree to follow all safety and hygiene instructions provided during the course.

4.3. Alcohol Consumption

If alcoholic beverages are served or consumed during the course, I acknowledge that this may increase the risk of injury. I agree to consume responsibly and not operate a vehicle if I am over the legal limit.

4.4. Media Release

I grant Sarmentine the right to photograph and/or record me during the course and to use these images or videos for marketing, social media, website, and promotional purposes, without compensation and without limitation in time or use.

4.5. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

I understand that Sarmentine is not an allergen-free environment and cross-contamination may occur.

I agree to inform Sarmentine of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to booking. I acknowledge that not all dietary needs can be accommodated.

I accept that allergic reactions or sensitivities are inherent risks associated with participation in cooking classes.

I understand that Sarmentine is not an allergen-free environment and cross-contamination may occur.

I agree to inform Sarmentine of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to booking. I acknowledge that not all dietary needs can be accommodated.

I accept that allergic reactions or sensitivities are inherent risks associated with participation in cooking classes.

4.6. Acknowledgment

By booking and participating in a course, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this Waiver and Release of Liability.
